1. Festival of Britain with MasterCard. Southbank Centre. Until Sunday.

Last chance to catch the 60th anniversary celebration of 1951 Festival of Britain. See the now-famous urban fox, beach huts, bunting and Museum of 51 for the last time.

2. Liberty Festival. Southbank Centre & National Theatre. Saturday and Sunday. 

This platform for amazing new work from Deaf and disabled artists is hosted at the National Theatre and Southbank Centre for the first time. In Theatre Square, you can see some of the UK’s leading dance and circus companies., whil Southbank Centre hosts music, comedy and installations. FREE

3. The Kitchen. National Theatre. From Wednesday.

Thrown together by their work, chefs, waitresses and porters from across Europe – English, Irish, German, Jewish – argue and flirt as they race to keep up.

4. Fright Night 3D. BFI IMAX. From Friday.

Charley Brewster finally has it all - he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry moves in next door.

5. Disco Pigs. Young Vic. From Friday.

10. Memory Remains: Francesc Torres. Imperial War Museum London. All Week.

A photography exhibition marking the 10th Anniversary of 9/11. The empty shell of Hangar 17 at JFK Airport became a storehouse of memories when it was filled with the material cleared from the World Trade Center site following the September 11 attacks on New York City.
